Srinagar, 25 April (TNS): Senior Hurriyat leader and chairman Jammu & kashmir salvation movement Zaffar Akber Bhat was placed under house arrest at his Bagh i Mehtab residence yet again, says a statement issued by Salvation movement Spokesman.
A heavy contingent of police raided the Bagh i Mehtab residence of Zaffar Akber Bhat.
The salvation movement has denounced the move. It has termed the move as undemocratic, a political vendetta and “autocratic, which reflects the paranoid mindset” of the Authorities.
“The frequent house confinement of Bhat has affected his social and political engagements,” said the spokesman. He said ” it’s very unfortunate the ruling class playing these undemocratic, Arbitrary and coercive tactics to restrict peaceful political activities of Bhat.
