ISLAMABAD April 27 (TNS): The Opposition leader in National Assembly and leader Pakistan People’s Party Khursheed Shah called article 62 and 63 of the constitution as “black laws” of the former military regime of Gen Zia ul Haq.
In a statement, Shah said he had repeatedly asked Nawaz Sharif for his cooperation in eliminating the laws but the former premier did not respond.
The opposition leader asserted that the parliament should be independent in its own decisions making.
Talking about the federal budget the opposition leader said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is going to set a new tradition of a one-year budget.
While he recommended that the Government should only present the budget of four months.
Mentioning the disqualification of foreign minister Khawaja Asif, Khursheed Shah said that he was not pleased by the news as it would have been better if the matter had sent to parliament.
