IHC seeks details regarding recruitments in CDA

ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (TNS): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday directed Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) to submit report pertaining to the newly recruited and regularized employees with the court.

Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani of IHC heard the case filed by daily wages and contract employees of CDA seeking regularization of their services.

The order read that if these appointments were illegal then why other employees were recruited under same procedure and later regularized.

The court directed Chairman CDA to submit an affidavit stating the illegal appointments in civic bodies were made during the previous regime.

The bench also directed CDA chairman to submit details regarding the newly recruited and regularized CDA employees with the bench on next date of hearing.

It may be mentioned here that daily wages/contract employees of CDA including Waqas Saeed, Ali Murad, Ambreen Arif, Mohsin Aziz, Syed Muhammad Ali Hassan, Muhammad Nadeem Khan and others have moved IHC seeking regularization of their services.
