ISLAMABAD April 28 (TNS): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar has ordered Inspector General of Punjab Police (IGP) to capture main accused in the killing of a journalist within 15 days.
The journalist, Zeeshan, affiliated to Nawae waqt, was murdered on 27 March 2018 in Sambryal Sialkot reportedly by UC Chairman Imran Cheema of PML-N for exposing his corruption.
Dismayed by the response from IGP that hunt for absconding accused is on the CJP asked him about how important the matter really was for the police as on previous date, IGP was given 10 days to capture the culprit?
CJP concluded the hearing with the order of nabbing the culprit within 15 days and sealing of his property.
