LAHORE, April 29 (TNS): In a child custody case, the country’s top judge Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday summoned his son-in-law for trying to get a favour for an official.
During hearing a custody case, Chief Justice expressed his displeasure and asked Dogar who recommended him to approach CJP’s kin for ‘support’.
He questioned the official’s audacity to ask son-in-law Khalid for a favour.
Chastising Dogar, Mian Saqib Nisar reiterated that he fought a war against injustice and how can he try to earn favours.
Seeing Chief Justice annoyances, Dogar sought an unconditional apology from the top judge who refused to accept it.
“I do not need your regret. Just inform me who recommended you to use private connection?” asked the top judge.
Later on, the Supreme Court summoned top judge’s son-in-law to immediately appear before the court in person.
