Islamabad, April 30 (TNS): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says National Counter Terrorism Authority has been directed to prepare registration policy about Madaris in collaboration with the representatives of Madaris and provinces within two days, says a press release issued by the ministry.
He was talking to newsmen after chairing a meeting regarding registration, reforms, and curriculum of Madaris in Islamabad on Monday.
The Minister said the Prime Minister will soon announce a comprehensive package for mainstreaming Madaris.
He said the government has been making efforts to resolve issues of Madaris in collaboration with Tanzeematul Madaris under National Action Plan.
To a question, Ahsan Iqbal said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a project of Pakistan’s future and it has to be made a success.
He said road shows will be organized in China in August or September this year for establishing economic zones in Pakistan under CPEC.
To another question, the Minister said provision of water in Gwadar will improve in six to eight months.
