NAP requests KP Governor to ask CM to get vote of confidence

PESHAWAR, May 02 (TNS): Awami National Party (ANP) Wednesday wrote a letter to the governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ask Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak under Article 130 Class-7 of the constitution to take the vote of confidence from the assembly.

ANP Provincial General Secretary and Parliamentary Leader in KP Assembly Sardar Hussain Babak in a letter to the governor said that KP CM has lost his confidence and at present have the support of limited members.

It further said that the House elected KP CM and Deputy Speaker were the majority of votes but unfortunately, due to poor policies of the present government during the last five years the province was facing critical financial and administrative problems and at the verge of collapse economically.

It said that KP CM has lost the confidence of the majority of MPAs and needed to get a fresh vote of confidence and hoped that the Governor KP while using his constitutional right would ask the CM to take a fresh vote of confidence
