Manshera, May 03 (TNS):Local money exchangers on Thursday announced observing shutter down strike across Hazara division till the provision of foolproof security to them.
This was announced by the president Forex Association of Pakistan Malik Bostan while addressing a press conference.
He said that there was a risk that the millions of looted Pakistani and other currencies from exchange companies would be used for terrorists activities.
Malik Bostan disclosed that during last one year more than 110 million Pakistani and foreign currencies have been looted in seven different heists in Hazara division and the so-called exemplary police of Khyber Paktunkhaw could not recoverd any single penny.
He maintained that after organized armed robberies during the year 2007 militants gained momentum and now government should also think on the same aspect.

President Forex Association further said that prior to this robbery the accused used the uniforms of police but now they have employed the Army uniform which is alarming, he demanded from KP government to take notice of the situation.
Many money changing companies have closed their businesses in Hazara division owing to the law and order situation which is a conspiracy against the economy of Pakistan, Malik Bostan said.
Replying to a question he said that we would not open our companies until the provision of foolproof security by the police. Earlier, the money changers of Haripur, Havelian, Abbottabad, Manshera and other areas staged a protest rally in front of Manshera Press Club against the robberies in Hazara region.
