GILGIT, May 03 (TNS):As many as 147 policemen of various ranks have been promoted to next grade in Gilgit Baltistan, spokesman of the police department said here on Thursday.
He said 14 policemen of Gilgit range had been prompted to sub-inspector and 30 assistant sub-inspector and 69 constables were elevated to head constable posts.
The departments of Gilgit Range include district Gilgit, Special Branch, ARP, Key-point, PTC, KSF, CPO, KKSF and CTD.
In Diyamir range, three policemen were promoted to sub-inspector, three assistant sub-inspector and 87 policemen were promoted to head constable position.
