Hikmat Yar’s guard abducted from Peshawar refugee camp

Peshawar May 5 (TNS): The chief security guard of the leader of Hizb Islami Engineer Gul Badeen Hikmat Yar has been abducted by unknown men from the Refugee camp in Peshawar on Saturday, TNS has learnt.

Kin of abducted refugee Abdul Qadir told TNS that he was living in the Shamshato refugee camp with his family for many years.

 

Qadir was appointed as a security guard with Hikmat Yar after his return to Afghanistan Qadir was performing duties in Afghanistan after being appointed as chief security guard of Gul Badeen.

During this period he was visiting the refugee camp in Peshawar to meet his family.

Eyewitnesses said that during a search operation in Peshawar, he was allegedly arrested by security agencies who shifted him to the undisclosed location.

Due to the overall prevailing security situation in the country, Afghan refugees are usually being arrested and tortured the cells.

The Qadir’s family has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of miseries they are facing in refugees camps.

They have also appealed for the early release of Abdul Qadir.
