Prominent PML-N lawmakers, such as Khusro Bakhtiar, Rana Muhammad Qasim, Basit Bukhari and Tariq Iqbal along with other leaders of the ruling party including Members of National Assembly will join PTI.

Several PML-N leaders quit the party in early April, vowing to make south Punjab a separate province, as the quest for an independent Saraiki belt in the province continues

The sole agenda announced by the PML-N lawmakers was the creation of a separate province in south Punjab, on the basis of which they departed the ruling party.

The agenda of the senior leaders and the PTI chief is on one page, as Imran Khan earlier raised his voice in support of the lawmakers’ demands of the creation of southern Punjab, in the most populated province of the country.
