Islamabad, May 10 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the government is considering offering tax incentives to the corporate sponsors of sports.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday in honor of Pakistani players who won medals in Commonwealth Games 2018, he said additional resources are required to promote sports in the country.
The Prime Minister said sports has become a provincial subject after the 18th amendment. He said the governmnet will provide resources for the South Asian games to be held in Pakistan. On the occasion, the Prime Minister gave away awards to the successful players of the Commonwealth Games.
