LAHORE, May 11 (TNS): Member pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee, Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that his party will not allow anyone to use the Parliament for launching movement to end the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that agenda to end the NAB will be against the country and PTI will not let this agenda to prevail. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) instead of presenting it for accountability wanted to eliminate NAB which was against national interests and won’t be allowed.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar claimed that the PTI has become the largest and most popular party of the country and will form next government in the centre in upcoming general election.
No power can stop chairman PTI Imran Khan to become the next Prime Minister of the country, he added.
The PTI leader said that the Parliament and democracy will be strengthened only when the politician after coming into power instead of looting the national exchequer would serve the country and the nation.
Senator Chaudhry Sarwar said that the since the country came into being, whomever came into power did nothing expect looting the country due to which the democracy and the Parliament were weak today.
He alleged that the PML-N to save its corruption had adopted policy of confrontation with the national institution which was matter of grave concern. The PTI leader vowed that supremacy of law and constitution in the country would be ensured at all costs and any step against NAB would be opposed within and outside the Parliament.
