Rangers recover explosive material from well in Karachi

Karachi July 6 (TNS): Weapons and ammunition were recovered from a well in Nazimabad no.3 area of the city during an operation by the Rangers late at night on Wednesday.

The weapons and explosive material were hidden by the workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London before the operation started in 2014.

The recovered arms and ammunition included seven awan bombs, 3,026 bullets of submachine guns and 75 bullets of a 222 gun and 13 bundles of voter’s slips were also found dug in the well.

The well dug Wednesday night is not far from the wells dug on June 23 and July 2.
