Muzaffarabad, May 13 (TNS): Many tourists feared dead as they fell into a Neelum river when a bridge collapsed in Neelum Valley on Sunday, officials said.
According to state media, the incident occurred on sunday when the students were crossing the bridge at Kundal Shahi area.
Three buses carrying dozens students were reached in Neelum valley from Faisalabad.
Four students were rescued while three dead bodies have been recovered so far.
A rescue operation kicked off by the authorities was initiated. Pakistan army is also taking part in the rescue operation, which was underway till filling this report.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Raja Farooq Haider has sought a report on the incident from authorities.
He also directed the deputy commissioner to speed up rescue efforts.
