KP Police used by provincial government for achieving political objectives: Mian Iftikhar

PESHAWAR, May 16 (TNS): Central General Secretary Awami National Party, Mian Iftikhar Hussain Tuesday rejected claim of KP Chief Minister regarding police free from political influence saying the force was being used by provincial government for achieving political objectives.

Addressing a party organizational meeting at Kotli Kalan Pabbi, he said police force of KP was being used by provincial government for political purposes. He accused that provincial government of inefficiency and said that KP CM has failed to establish a university in the district and has promoted nepotism in his own constituency.

He said provincial government has failed to deliver in KP and public departments are facing financial and administrative mismanagement. He said that claim of the government regarding improvement in health sector has been exposed during visit of Chief Justice.

ANP leader said that FATA should be merged with KP before general election and its share would be decided in provincial cabinet. He said that financial package should be ensured for FATA people owing to their sacrifices in war against militancy.

He also urged workers to work in unison for the victory of party in next coming elections. He said that people are fed up with the party who misled people on false claims of change adding ANP would emerge victorious in coming general election.
