NAWABSHAH, May 18 (TNS): To have a check on prices of essential commodities during the month of Ramadan, district administration have set up complaint Cells and Control Rooms at district and taluka level.
The Control Rooms would remain in operation from 9 am to 7 pm and general public may register their complaints against overcharging to initiate action against traders violating official rate lists, said a statement issued by district information office on Thursday.
Zubair Ahmed Mallah- PS to DC Shaheed Benazirabad- has been posted as in-charge of district control room. Complaints of overcharging could be lodged at his mobile No.0300-3211853 or landline numbers 0244-9370335 and 0244-9370334.
Control Room set up at Taluka Assistant Commissioner Nawabshah is assigned Tel No. 0244-9370347, Assistant Commissioner Taluka Daur Tel No.0244325036, Assistant Commissioner Taluka Sakrand Tel No.0244322758 and Assistant Commissioner Taluka Qazi Ahmed is assigned Tel No.0244321055.
