Islamabad, May 18 (TNS): Pakistani actress Armeena Rana Khan took to twitter on Thursday and announced that she will be visiting Syria in the holy month of the Ramadan and will deliver Zakat and Donations by hand to the refugees in Syria who have suffered in the war-stricken country for 7 years.

The war has undoubtedly had an adverse effect in Syria and around 300,000 people have been killed in the war and millions are wandering homeless in the country, the step will indeed be heartwarming for those who are suffering in Syria and will also show a positive image of Pakistan to the world.

The Bin Roye actress posted a picture on social media of an innocent child surrendering to a camera out of fear and wrote, “This broke my heart. I have been following this conflict for years and I finally, have had enough. It is time to do something. It is time to do what is in my hands.”

The Janaan actress further urged others to donate to the refugees, as much as possible in the holy month, “Please donate generously as everything will be hand delivered by myself and the team. The link is in the bio. I hope that you will do your bit in giving these poor children some hope in their lives. Thank you so much, please spread this as much as possible”

Along with the announcement of visiting Syria Armeena has assured the donations will be delivered first-hand by her and her team once she reaches the country.
