ISLAMABAD, May 24 (TNS): Special Investigation Unit of Islamabad Police conducted a raid on an illegally established fake liquor factory on Thursday and got hold of one of the criminals.
According to the details the arrested person namely Arab Khan alias Billu, said to be a known liquor seller, had established a small fake liquor producing factory at his home at Dhok Qureshiyan within jurisdiction of Golra Sharif Police station in the Capital city.
300 bottles and three large containers of fake liquor were recovered from the spot.
Meanwhile CIA Police conducted a raid in Jhangi Syedaan area and arrested 8, gamblers.
Police also recovered play-cards and Rs 110,000 cash from the gamble den.
SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman appreciated police teams for taking actions against miscreants.
