Houston, May 24 (TNS): Pakistan Consul General Ayesha Farouqi on Thursday categorically rubbished ‘baseless’ rumours about Aafia Siddiqui’s death, says a statement issued by the Pakistani Consulate in Texas.
According to statement Farouqi recently met Siddiqui at a Houston jail which lasted for two hours.
“This is the Pakistani diplomat’s fourth meeting with the incarcerated neuroscientist over 14 months:, a statement issued by the Pakistan consulate in Houston said.
“The rumors about demise of Aafia Siddiqui are baseless,” the statement added.
