Peshawar, May 26 (TNS): Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and opposition leader Maulana Lutfur-Rehman have agreed upon Manzoor Afridi for the caretaker chief minister of interim government.

Manzoor Afridi is the younger brother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Ayub Afridi and uncle of Javed Afridi. PTI chairman Imran Khan has also approved the name of Manzoor Afridi for caretaker Chief Minister.
Chief Minister and Opposition Leader met earlier to decide the name. The formal announcement of appointing Manzoor as the interim chief minister would be made in a few days.
