LAHORE, May 26 (TNS):A fire broke out in the record room of Pakistan Railways Divisional Superintendent (DS) office, here on Saturday.
However, the fire was extinguished soon and the record remained safe, said DS Sufiyan Sarfaraz Dogar.

The DS said the fire broke out in the record room where 50-year-old record was kept and the teams were finding out
the cause of fire. “We are also gathering record of burnt papers,” he
added. The DS said that an inquiry committee comprising divisional personal officer and deputy director land and property has been constituted to probe the incident.
