ISLAMABAD, May 28 (TNS): Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday asked the parliamentarians to speak about the five-year performance of the Parliament on May 31 – the last day of House.
He said “Prime Minister and ministers will attend the last day of the Parliament and I request the members to speak about the performance of Parliament.”
He said there should be no complaints and called for mutual respect and accommodation on the last day.
Sherry Mazari, on a point of order, said that her party MNA had reportedly been attacked by the JUI-F workers in FATA and asked the chair to take notice of it.
She also raised issue of the appointment of Pakistan ambassador to US.
Speaker National Assembly said “I condemn attack on any members of the Parliament; I hope the chief of JUI-F would be not aware of the attack.”Naeema Kishwar said the JUI-F strongly condemned attack on the MNA and said that no one should be allowed to take law into their hands. Usman Badaini said that today the nation is celebrating Youm-e-Takbir and pointed out that children of Chagai are still facing problems regarding admission in the schools.
