ECP seek Caretaker’s assets detail within three days of taking oath

Islamabad, May 31 (TNS): The Election Commission of Pakistan has asked caretaker Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and Ministers to submit the detail of their assets within three days of taking the oath.

In a statement issued today, the commission has also sought detail of caretakers’ spouses and children according to the ECP law.

Election Commission also says that “all arrangements have been completed to hold general elections on time.” A spokesperson of the commission in a statement in Islamabad said that “the scheduled election will also be held on time.”

According to the spokesperson, the Election Commission of Pakistan has registered over two million voters in tribal areas.

The spokesman said all the Temporarily Displaced Persons who have returned to their native areas have also been registered as voters, so that maximum number of tribal people could use their right to vote in the upcoming general elections.
