ISLAMABAD, June 1 (TNS): Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice (retd) Nasirul Mulk took oath as caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan.
President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain administered his oath today in president house.
The federal government completed its five-year constitutional term late Thursday, after which the interim government is set to take over the country from today onwards.
Nasirul Mulk is the seventh caretaker prime minister of Pakistan.
Justice (retd) Nasirul Mulk was unanimously nominated as Caretaker Prime Minister by the government and opposition.
Justice Nasirul Mulk has served as chief justice. He played a historic role in the judiciary and when he was a lawyer.
