Islamabad, June 1 (TNS): The national and provincial assemblies dissolved last night by completing a five-year term.
The assemblies completed their term on Monday and stood dissolved.
The dissolution of assemblies paved the way for the establishment of caretaker setups and conduct of general elections in the country.
The 14th National Assembly during the last five years of its tenure passed the highest number of laws and accomplished landmark achievements.
