Islamabad, June 1 (TNS): National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation and research to eliminate terrorism and extremism, state media reported on Friday.
Executive Director SDPI Dr Abid Qaiyum Suleri and National Coordinator of NACTA Ihsan Ghani signed the MoU during a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ihsan Ghani said that research regarding terrorism and extremism is an important element and NACTA has been mandated for carrying out the research.
Expressing his views, Dr Abid Qaiyum Suleri said that realization of dream of sustainable development is impossible without a peaceful society and role of NACTA is of vital importance to this effect.
