Russia, UAE formed strategic partnership to combat terror

MOSCOW, June 2 (TNS): Russian President Vladimir Putin and Abu Dhabi Crown prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have signed a declaration on a strategic partnership to combat terrorism and extremism.

Following bilateral talks in Moscow, Russian and Abu Dhabi formed the Strategic Partnership between the two countries.

According to the text of the document “the spread of international terrorism requires the world community to take decisive measures without double standards”.

The UAE and Russia started to intensify consultations in the field of security and defense.

They also agreed to strengthen political and defense cooperation and to turn the Middle East into a zone free of weapons of mass destruction.
