Islamabad June 4 (TNS): In respectful compliance of the orders of Islamabad High Court, special instructions were passed by Chief Commissioner Islamabad & Chairman CDA for complete removal of all illegal commercial activities functioning at Main Double Road, F-11 Bhekha Syedan.
Accordingly, Enforcement Directorate had severed written notices to all shopkeepers on 01.06.2018 warned them vacate state land but they did not adhered. Hence, a forceful operation has been conducted in collaboration with ICT Administration, Islamabad Police & Rangers.
Capt (R) Shoaib Ali, ADC (G) ICT Administration has personally supervised the entire operation while other AC/Magistrate with two (02) reserves force and Police staff of respective Police Station were present to control law & order situations. The Ranger was also present at site for any backup assistance.
In this mega operation all operational staff of Enforcement Directorate under the supervision of Mr Muhammad Ramzan Dy Director, Mr. Amir Olukh, AD Land/Tehsildar with other revenue staff has took part.
Two excavator machines & one chain dozer have borrowed from MPO & Environment Wing CDA for demolition of illegal structures.
During the action, 61 commercial structures which includes Car Show Rooms, Auto Mechanic Shops, Service Stations General Stores, Kiosks, rooms, Restaurants Scrape Dealer Shops, Dainting Painting Shops, Printiping Shops, Auto Spare Parts Shops etc were razed to ground with the help machineries. Some structures were partially razed due to out of order of existing machinery.
