ISLAMABAD Jun 4 (TNS): Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal chaired a meeting to review security measures for the secrecy of official documents at NAB headquarters as well as in regional bureaus as per NAB’s security and secrecy policy.
Chairman NAB directed intelligence and intelligence cell to ensure the security of official record in NAB headquarters and regional bureaus.
He directed the officials to ensure secrecy of official documents and make sure that officers/ official would remain vigilant in performance of their duties and official record should reach to private and irrelevant persons.
The chairman directed to ensure complete security of visitors, applicants and staff of NAB at all cost and it must be ensured that official record should go out from NAB headquarters and regional bureaus only for official purpose and leakage of any official information to irrelevant and private persons will be discouraged.
Javed Iqbal directed to maintain complete record of all incoming and outgoing files and record of NAB. Proper diary number , date and time of all outgoing NAB files and documents should be written in a register.
He directed to ensure security of NAB officials in the light of NAB’s security and secrecy policy.
The chairman said that an inquiry has already continues against an official of NAB of violating the secrecy policy and allegedly taking out to some official documents without permission.
