Islamabad, June 4 (TNS): Supreme Court Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of the incidents of fire at Margalla Hills posing serious threats to the forest, wildlife and environment in general.
Notices have been issued to Attorney General, Secretary Environment, Secretary CADD, Mayor Islamabad, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority.
The Chief Justice has fixed the matter in court for Thursday.
The Chief Justice also took notice of the acute shortage of water supply throughout the country and has fixed the matter in Court at Islamabad apex court’s registries at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
The matter regarding scarcity of water supply in Islamabad has been fixed in Court on Thursday.
