ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday repeated that the caretaker government is responsible for recent power cuts across the country.

Talking informally to media person outside the accountability court, the ousted Prime Minister asserted that his government added additional 10,000 Megawatts in the national grid.

“There was no electricity load-shedding when we [PML-N] were in power,” he added.

Talking about future plans, Nawas said that if PML-N comes into power again then a national commission will be formed for accountability.

“If we put our house in order, then everything will be in order,” ex-PM went on to say.

Speaking about the Lahore High Court nullifying the nomination forms of electoral candidates, he remarked: “How is it possible a single-member bench to dismiss a law like that?”

To a query on Reham Khan saga, Nawaz said that when PTI doesn’t find anything they levelled more false accusations.
