Islamabad, June 6 (TNS): Deputy Chairman Senate Senator Saleem Mandviwalla says the world must recognize the sacrifices of Pakistan in war against terrorism, state-run media reported.
Talking to Ambassador of Romania, Nicole Goia in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan wants peace at regional as well as global level.
He lauded the excellent cooperation between Pakistan and Romania at international forums and hoped that the two sides would explore new vistas of cooperation to place bilateral relations at high pedestal.
Deputy Chairman Senate said Pakistan considers Romania an important country and wants to further enhance bilateral cooperation for mutual benefits of the two sides.
He said business and trade cooperation will bring people of the two countries closer to each other.
Both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, especially focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in different sectors.
Romanian ambassador said his country is looking forward for increased cooperation in trade and other mutually beneficial economic activities.
