Islamabad, June 14 (TNS): World Blood Donor Day is being observed on Thursday to create public awareness on blood donation.
The theme of this year’s campaign is blood donation as an action of solidarity.
The objective of the day is to thank blood donors for their life-saving gift of blood and highlight the dimension of sharing and connection between blood donors and patients.
According to the doctors, an adult male could donate after every three months while an adult female could donate three times in a year.
