Lahore, June 14 (TNS): A group of journalists of electronic and print media called on the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar at Supreme Court Branch Registry Lahore on Thursday.
They thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for his lordship’s concern for payment of salaries/ dues to employees/workers/journalists.
Taking to the journalists, the Chief Justice of Pakistan said that all media owners must pay dues/salaries to workers/journalists as per court order of this court passed in Suo Motu case no 5/2018(regarding payment of outstanding salaries to Reporters/Workers of Print and Electronic media), failing to which, strict action will be taken in accordance with law, against the owners who don’t comply with court order.
