Islamabad, June 14 (TNS): Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has now become the most successful T-20 International captain in the history of Pakistan cricket after a series win against Scotland on Thursday.
Sarfraz now boasts a win percentage of 86.4 as captain and under his leadership, Pakistan has won 12 T-20Is on the spin.
Since Sarfraz was appointed captain in 2016 Pakistan have won 19 matches out of 22 in the shortest format of the game and he has escalated the team from 7th place in the rankings to No.1 in the world.
Pakistan have also won consecutive T-20I series under his authoritative captaincy.
Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez are the only other T-20I captains who have won 19 matches but they have taken 43 and 29 matches to achieve the feat respectively.
