NOTTINGHAM, June 19 (TNS): The blistering tons of Bairstow and David Hales after the stormy short innings of opener J Ropy have helped England to post world record ODI score of 481 for six against the shivering Kangaroos bowling on Tuesday at Nottingham.

J Roy made 82 by facing only 61 balls with the help of seven fours and four mighty sixes and set the platform with Bairstow by adding 159 runs for the opening partnership.

After the departure of Roy, Hales joined the hands with Bairstow and thrashed Australian wayward bowling and built up another more than 150 runs partnership. Bairstow made 139 on 92 balls with the help of 15 fours and five huge sixes while Hales posted 147 on 92 balls as his innings was envisaged with 16 fours and as many as sixes posted by Bairstow.

However, in the final overs, Morgan added rapid 67 in 30 balls thrashing three fours and six mighty sixes.

The J Richardson got three wickets by giving away 92 runs in 10 Overs quota.
