Lahore, June 20 (TNS): The Lahore High Court on Wednesday barred the appeal of former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal to not show the video of his anti-judiciary speeches in the absence of his lawyer, putting him in hot waters.

Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar led the hearing of anti-judiciary speeches and asked Ahsan Iqbal who is accused in the contempt of court case to explain why he delivered such speeches in public.

The judge also enquired from the interior minister who is responsible for disruption of law in the country. “The court will decide whether or not to play the video”, he added.

The hearing has been adjourned until June 22.
