Islamabad, June 27 (TNS): Applet tribunal Islamabad on Wednesday rejected two appeals filed against nomination papers of PTI chief Imran Khan in NA-53 constituency.
Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani rejected objections raised in the both the appeals by Abdul Wahab and Haroon Arshad Sheikh and allowed Imran Khan to contest the election from the constituency.
The Election Tribunal has rejected the appeal against acceptance of nomination papers PTI chief Imran Khan from the constituency of NA-243 Karachi.
According to the officials, the appeal that was filed by Mohammad Javed Khalid was rejected on technical ground and Imran has been declared eligible for contesting the elections from the constituency.
Meanwhile, the Appellate Tribunal Bannu has accepted the nomination paper of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for contesting election on National Assembly seat, NA-35 Bannu.
Appeal against the acceptance of his nomination paper was filed by Inamullah Wazir of Justice Democratic Party.
