Harare, July 2 (TNS): Pakistan teams top order was bamboozled by Australian pacer Billy Stanlake, as the whole team crumbled on Monday for 116 against the Aussies, at the Harare Sports Club Stadium.
Australia won the toss and elected to field first on a sunny afternoon at Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe and got off to a flying start as Pakistan were reduced to 24-4 in 6.2 overs.
Andrew Tye supported Billy Stanlake at the other end as he racked up three wickets to cause more problem for Pakistan.
Australia who were down and out against England as they suffered a 5-0 whitewash looked in control against Pakistan as they bowled well and fielded splendidly according to the plan.
The only Batsmen who showed a bit of resistance against the Aussie pace attack Shadab Khan who scored 29 off 25.
Asif Ali and Faheem Ashraf scored 22 and 21 respectively to get Pakistan over the 100 mark.
Australia will now chase a target of 117 in the second innings.
