Islamabad, July 2 (TNS): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken notice of displaying pictures of unrelated persons on the election posters by PTI leader Nasir Cheema.

Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan was hearing an appeal against Nasir Cheema for using pictures of the Army Chief and Chief Justice of Pakistan on his banners and posters during his electioneering.
The CEC has asked Nasir Cheema to submit a written reply giving reasons as to why he should not be stopped from contesting the elections.
Nasir Cheema is a PTI candidate from Gujranwala’s constituency PP-62.
The hearing has been adjourned till Monday next.
