Minor from Faisalabad dies after heart surgery in Indian Hospital

Ludhiana, July 3(TNS): A seven-year-old minor, Zainab who hailed from Faisalabad passed away in an Indian Hospital where she was undergoing treatment.

Zainab suffered from a severe heart disease, as she had three holes in her heart.

The father of the minor said that the doctor’s at Faislabad’s Institute of Cardiology where she was undergoing treatment prior to this, had recommended Zainab to be taken to India.

He further said that his daughter was taken to the Ludhiana hospital for treatment where she passed away after Surgery last night.

After her heart surgery Zainab had been shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) and the doctors reportedly said that next 24 hours were critical for the minor.

Zainab’s condition, however did not imrove and she lost the battle of her life at 4pm this morning.

The body of the minor was handed to her family, who are now facing a challenge to bring her body back to Pakistan for her funeral.

The girl’s father through a video message blamed the authorities due to which he is facing hardship in obtaining travel documents from various government departments.

Zainab’s father appealed to the Pakistan High Commission to assist him in bringing the body of his deceased daughter back to their homeland.
