Pak Navy, Turkey sign agreement for building 4 naval ships of Milgem Class

Islamabad, July 5 (TNS): Pakistan Navy has signed an agreement with Turkey for building four naval ships of Milgem Class.

According to the spokesman for Pakistan Navy, the agreement was signed at Ministry of Defence Production in Islamabad.

The ships will be equipped with modern system and stealth technology.

The locally manufactured missile system will also be installed in the vessels.

Under the agreement, shipbuilding technology of Milgem Class will also be transferred to Pakistan.

The first two ships will be manufactured at Istanbul Navy Shipyard while the last two will be built at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works.

The commissioning of these two ships will add defence capability of Pakistan Navy, which will guarantee maritime peace in the region.
