Rawalpindi, July 10 (TNS): Police have registered three FIRs against retired Captain Safdar and several other PML-N leaders at different police stations of the city for taking out a rally to obstruct his arrest by putting up a human shield of party workers.
Captain Safdar, Chaudhry Tanveer, Daniyal Chaudhry, and Raja Hanif are among those named in the FIRs.
The FIRs say that the participants of the rally violated the ECP’s code of conduct for general elections and relevant sections of the amplifiers act.
