ISLAMABAD, July 11 (TNS): The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Wednesday directed the Chairman PEMRA to appear before the court in contempt of court petition against former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abassi on July 18 with the record.
Earlier a citizen, Riaz Anjum had filed a petition against former PM, accusing him of committing contempt of court by using derogatory language on electronic media against an Appellate Election Tribunal (AET) of the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Abdul Rehman Lodhi.
