COAS confirms death warrants of 12 terrorists

RAWALPINDI, July 13 (TNS): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has confirmed death warrants of 12 hardcore terrorists involved in killing civilians and security forces.

The accused were involved in the killing of 99 people and injuring 58 others, out of which 8 were civilians and 92 were security personnel.

The terrorists were also involved in Attacks on Bannu and DI Khan Prisons, convoys of security forces, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAS) and academic institutions. After completion of the cases from Military, Courts COAS signed the death warrants of culprits. The terrorists include Ghani Ur Rehman, Abdul Laghari, Zia Ur Rehman, Mohammad Zubair, Umer Nawaz, Sajid Khan, Haibat Khan, Aiman Shah, Baaz Muhammad, Momin Khan and Salman Muhammad.
