Nation observes mourning day over death of 130 in terror attacks

Islamabad, July 15 (TNS): The nation  is observing a day of national mourning to express solidarity with the victim families of the recent terror attacks in Peshawar, Bannu and Mastung.

Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Nasirul Mulk announced one-day official mourning to mourn the deaths of over 130 people killed in the blasts targeting election-related activities.

The national flag is flying at half-mast on all government buildings in Islamabad and the provincial capitals. Balochistan Government has also announced to observe three-day mourning in the province in the wake of tragic Mastung incident. A day earlier, 129 martyrs of Friday’s terrorist attack in Mastung including Balochistan Awami leader Nawabzada Siraj Raisani were laid to rest in their ancestral hometowns and villages.
