Islamabad, July 15 (TNS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Sunday alleged that former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was involved in rigging the 2013 general elections.
Shahbaz Sharif, meanwhile, dismissed the allegation, saying that Imran Khan should first look at himself. Khan accused the Shahbaz Sharif administration of getting the kickback in the multi-billion-dollar Metro Bus project in Lahore and Multan. Metro service was launched to get commission and kickbacks and send the money abroad. Shahbaz Sharif launched Multan metro bus but the people don’t need it. They want solutions to their problems,” he said, adding that ‘empty busses’ plying the routes are a loss to national exchequer.
