Professor killed over resistance in robbery bid

Islamabad, July 16 (TNS):  Two armed robbers have killed a private college professor after resisting a robbery bid within Khana police jurisdiction.

The police said, two armed robbers broke into professor’s house by scaling boundary wall and held family members hostage at gunpoint  before going a looting spree. The robbers have ransacked the house and opened fire on the professor over his resistance and the bullet hit his head and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The robbers have fled the scene after looting 0.2 million. The body shifted to District Head Quarters Hospital (DHQ) for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case but the police did not made any arrest so far.
