Islamabad, July 18 (TNS): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan today regarding the alleged misuse of helicopters of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.

NAB will question the PTI chief in it’s KPK office on the alleged use of provincial government’s helicopters for his private visits across the country.

Last week, Imran Khan received a notice by NAB to appear before the accountability body.

Khan is accused of illegally using an Mi-17 and an Ecureuil helicopter belonging to the KP government for a total of 74 hours, causing a loss of Rs2.1 million to the national exchequer.

KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has already appeared before NAB in the past regarding the case

NAB chairman Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal in February directed the bureau to launch a probe against the Khan and Pervez Khattak over the unofficial use of two government helicopters by misusing authority.
